Hello! When I started this blog, I put a lot of pressure on myself to post multiple times a week, and I’m realizing that may not be possible. I’m extending myself a little grace while I figure this whole thing out. Hope you bear with me! 🙂
Anyway, I’m mentally preparing for the next month and a half as I will be out of town every weekend and a couple of full weeks! I’m so excited about my upcoming events and opportunities, but I’ve got to admit, I’m a little stressed! And, because I can’t say no to fun, I last minute accepted an invitation to go to Foxfield and pretend to be a UVA alumni this past weekend (I’ll share more on my weekend later this week). My adventurous soul and social nature is going to get the best of me over the coming weeks! Pray for me!
Speaking of upcoming travels, my brother and his fiance get married in a little over two weeks in St. John! I’m obviously thrilled, so I couldn’t wait any longer to share this dress that I’ll be wearing to their wedding! It’s not a formal wedding and it’s on the beach in the evening, so I knew I wanted something short(ish) and flowy. I found this Lilly Pulitzer dress a few weeks ago at Palm Avenue in Raleigh, a Lilly Pulitzer signature store. I love the cold-shoulder and ruffle hem! It’s so comfortable and easy to wear, but looks elegant and fun. It even comes in Navy which is always classic! Also these glitter gold sandals are amazing, and they are only $35!
