Singing “Ooooo, we’re half way there” while writing this post because it’s Wednesday, and we are half-way to the weekend! Good thing you can’t hear me actually singing.
Before I start talking about this amazing top, I want to share how GRATEFUL I am for all the love, encouragement and support I’ve received over my blog. I never expected such a positive response. In an Audiobook I’m listening to, The Power of Vulnerability, Brene Brown talks about how things you want to do that make you feel vulnerable or scared, other people find them courageous! This was such a revelation to me, and really helped motivate me to start this website. I recommend The Power of Vulnerability if you are doing some soul searching and constantly wanting to improve your life like I am. It’s been life changing for me which I never imagined! It’s also fun to listen to because she’s speaking to an audience and she’s pretty funny. I’m sure I’ll continue talking about this book in other posts, so I’ll stop for now. 🙂 Here‘s where you can find it if you’re interested in learning more or downloading it.
The outfit I have on is perfect for a Spring date night when it still gets a little cool at night. The off the shoulder silk top still makes you feel flirty, but the sleeves keep you warm. If you know me at all, you know I’m ALWAYS cold so the sleeves are great. My favorite features of this shirt are the tiered bell sleeves, the built in bra, and the open back! All of these details make this top perfect for a night out. You could also wear this top with shorts for a more casual look or dark jeans if you prefer!
