Fun fact about me – I’m never on time. I set alarms, I set my clock ahead of time on my watch and in my car, and my friends all know to tell me a time to be ready that’s actually thirty minutes ahead of when I’m supposed to be ready to go out. My high school friends have done this since we were in ninth grade and my college friends learned to do this as well! Some people may say I’m disrespectful (yes, I’ve been told that before), but I really do just move at a Turtle’s pace. Another fun fact: my parent’s call me “Turtle”. I genuinely take my time on things, and I’m rarely in a hurry.

 

When Jord Watches reached out to me about doing a campaign, I thought, “well isn’t this ironic that I would be promoting a watch when I’m literally never on time”! Then I thought, “maybe this will help me be on time!” 😉 I was excited but also a little concerned about how a “wooden watch” would look in person because I had never seen one in real life. I thought it would look manly and not girly enough for my taste. As I was scrolling through their website, I came across the Cassia Watch which is the one I’m wearing and showing in the photos above. It definitely comes across as dark on the site and when I received it, I honestly could barely tell it was wood until you look really close. This watch is so unique and girly, and I love that it’s different than anything I have. I really like the dark wood, it’s almost black, to wear as another option from my gold watch. I regretfully didn’t get my unique watch engraved with my name, but that is an awesome option that they offer.
