I’ve shopped the Nordstrom Sale since it’s been live – like every category multiple times! It’s only open to Nordstrom cardholders right now, but goes live to everyone on Friday 7/21!!!
To help you shop, I’ve found a few things that I really like, purchased, shared on my Instagram story and am linking below. Overall, I was not super impressed. I also didn’t want to get so caught up in it because literally every single blogger I follow is all about it so there’s plenty out there. When I was hunting, I tried to shop items that 1. I actually like 2. that other bloggers weren’t talking about a lot. A couple of items I purchased are hot among all bloggers I follow, but I really liked these pieces and had to get them anyway! I generally try to be unique in what I wear and buy, but sometimes things are just that good that it doesn’t matter if everyone is wearing it. Shop my favorites below. Everything is under $100 and a lot under $50!!

Honestly, this is probably my favorite piece that I’ve received from the Nordstrom Sale. I feel like a bad ass in it (haha)!! I ordered the “JUST PINE” color as shown in a size Small. It fits perfectly and true to size. I love the unique color and didn’t want to spend a lot on a real leather jacket that’s a color that I’m not going to wear all the time. They currently have this green color and black. It’s such a great deal at $65 that it’s hard to pass up. I know I’ll wear this a lot come cooler weather!
Steve Madden Black Over the Knee Boots
I was most excited to pick up these black OTK boots. They are “suede” and were only $85. I mentioned in my Instagram story that I have small to normal sized legs, and these fit me well. If you have larger calves/thighs, these may not work for you. Same if you have really tiny thighs. I am also a little bit concerned that when I put on skinny jeans / jeggings / leggings, these will be too tight. I still like them a lot and they were very inexpensive for OTK boots! Also very comfortable and fit true to size.
I’m not typically one for florals, but I actually surprisingly thought this one was really cute. I think the colors pop more in person and are not as muted as they look on my screen here. This is a great work dress and a great transition dress from Summer to Fall and will be great in the Spring! I typically wear a size Small in dresses and that’s what I ordered. This dress is $60 during the sale!
Charles Henry High Low Ruffle Dress
I think this dress is super cute and I love the color. I ordered a size small which is what I usually wear and it fit. This is constructed like a shift dress with a ruffle high low hemline (which I love the most about this dress). However, I’m 5’8″ and I thought the dress hit a little bit long on me. If you’re 5’6″ or under, this dress is going to be more of a knee length/midi dress, so be wary of that. This dress can be worn to work and out after. I can image throwing on a leather jacket with it to go out. It’s also $62.
I purchased this sweater in ivory and they have yellow! This sweater is my second favorite item of my order. I love it! It’s comfortable, fits a little loose, has bell sleeves, and the really cool lace-up back! I wear a US size 6 in Topshop.
Adidas is cool again! I love this logo. I remember wearing it when I was started to play soccer around age 7. I ordered a size S and it fit well. It’s made to be longer which I like.
LOVE these capris. Super comfortable, don’t show my underwear and they have the mesh details on the back of the calf. I ordered a size S and M because I wasn’t sure. I’m keeping the S. I did the bendover test, and no panties are showing through! They also just feel like they should be tighter than the way the M was fitting. For reference, I’m typically a size 27 or 28 in pants.
Zella Live In High Waist Legging
These are perfect for yoga or for running to the grocery store. A basic black tight, but they are comfy and fit well. If you don’t want to pay $60+ for yoga tights from Lululemon, Athleta or various other brands, get these. These are $36 right now!
Asics Gel-Kayano 24 Running Shoe
So I did not show you guys these shoes on my Instagram story because I bought them directly from Asics about a month ago. I saw them in the sale and wanted to include them. I love Asics for running shoes. They are much more supportive than Nike or other brands in my opinion and these are there tried and true style.
That’s it for my Nordstrom picks that I’ve received. My black bag is sold out, but I think I’m returning it anyway because it’s not the size I thought it was going to be at all. Really misjudged there!
